In his volunteer capacity as the VP of Translational Medicine and a member of the Board of Directors of the International Hyperbaric Medical Foundation, a 501c(3) non-profit research group, Dr. B. Dr. Mozayeni and NCSU Lab publish largest case series of persistent Bartonella infection in humans
